Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
This policy explains what data the mobile game Underground Fight: Wild 90s (in Russian «Подпольные бои: Лихие 90-е», Android) and the website undergroundfightgame.com collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
The game is made by an independent developer, Maxim Popelnitskiy. Contact for any privacy question: gegirhasut@gmail.com.
What the game collects
- Game progress: your fighter's name and look, stats, strikes, in-game money, gym equipment, rank and rating. It is saved on your phone and copied to the game's server, so it is not lost and other players can meet your fighter.
- Asynchronous PvP: on the wasteland other players fight the "shadow" of your fighter — a copy of his name, look, stats and strikes. The server keeps the fights' results, their records (replays — for 14 days), tournaments, the rating and the challenge codes you send to friends.
- Gameplay events and play time: fights, training, purchases with in-game money, how long you play — to balance the game and fix problems.
- Device data: a random identifier the game creates for your installation (not your phone's advertising ID), the device model, Android version, language, time zone, the game's version, and where the game was installed from (Google Play install referrer).
- IP address: used to find out your country; only the country is stored with your game. The web server's logs keep IP addresses for up to 14 days.
- Advertising ID: the advertising SDKs in the game (see "Advertising") may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and device data.
The game does not ask for your real name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and it has no login or password.
How we use it
- to save and restore your progress;
- to run fights with other players' fighters, tournaments, ratings and challenges;
- to understand how the game is played and improve it (counts and charts, not individual profiles for sale);
- to show ads that keep the game free.
We do not sell your data.
Advertising
The game shows ads from Google AdMob and Yandex (Yandex Mobile Ads): rewarded videos that you choose to watch for a reward. Yandex ads are mainly for players in Russia and Belarus: the game learns your country from our server by your IP address, or, if the server has not answered, from your SIM card or phone language. Other players get their ads from Google, with Yandex only as a fallback when Google has had no video several times in a row. Yandex Mobile Ads receives your device's advertising ID, your IP address, device data (model, Android version, language) and data about the ads shown. Later the game may also use VK Ads (VK Реклама). These networks collect and process data on their own, under their own policies:
- Google: Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services;
- Yandex: Yandex Ads Privacy Policy, Yandex Privacy Policy;
- VK: VK Ads Privacy Policy.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To see how players find and play the game, and how well our own ads in other apps work, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase. It receives gameplay events (for example: the first fight finished, a new rank, a training session, a rewarded ad watched), an identifier Firebase creates for your installation, the device model, Android version, language and the country from your IP address, and — only if you allow it — your advertising ID. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it works only with your consent, given in the same Google consent form as for ads, and you can change it the same way. Google processes this data under the Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy, and keeps it for up to 14 months.
Yandex analytics (AppMetrica)
Together with Yandex ads the game includes AppMetrica, Yandex's analytics SDK that Yandex Mobile Ads needs to work. It starts together with Yandex ads, only for players the game loads them for, and receives device data (model, Android version, language, your advertising ID and an identifier AppMetrica creates for your installation), your IP address, data on how the game is used (launches, sessions, ads shown) and crash data. Yandex processes this data under the Yandex Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use of Yandex Metrica and AppMetrica.
Backup to your Google account (Android Backup)
So that you can continue with the same fighter after reinstalling the game or moving to a new phone, the game lets Android's own backup service copy its files to the backup in your Google account: your game progress, the key of your anonymous game account (not your name or email) and the game's settings. We do not receive this copy, and the game sends nothing new to us or anyone else for it: Google keeps it in your Google account under the Google Privacy Policy, and Android restores it when you install the game again on a phone with the same Google account. You can turn the backup off in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Backup) and delete it in Google Drive (Backups). Removing the game does not delete this copy.
Personalized ads and your consent
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads (Google's consent form, UMP). Without consent you see only non-personalized ads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the game, with the privacy options button. Anywhere, you can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ads personalization, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Yandex ads and AppMetrica start only after the game has asked for Google consent where it is required. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form covers Google's ads; Yandex is not among its partners, so there Yandex Mobile Ads gets no consent for personalized ads and shows only non-personalized ads (or none), and only as a fallback when Google has had no video. Everywhere else it works as described above: there is no consent form, and you control your advertising ID and ads personalization for both networks in your phone's settings.
Children
The game is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has played and their data is on our server, write to gegirhasut@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Storage and security
The data is kept on a server rented by the developer and travels over HTTPS. Only the developer has access to it. It is kept while you play, until you ask to delete it.
Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask what data we have about your game, ask to correct it or to delete it: see how to delete your account and data, or write to gegirhasut@gmail.com. Removing the game from your phone deletes the copy on the phone, but not the one on the server.
From the game (About → Delete account and data), once you confirm, the data is erased from our server at once and for good — it cannot be restored. A deletion request sent through the site or by email is handled within the time stated below.
The website
undergroundfightgame.com counts its visits without cookies: a random identifier in your browser's storage, the pages and the trailer you watch, and your country; your IP address is not stored (only a hash that changes daily). The identifier is there to recognise a returning visitor. In Europe (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) it is stored only after you press “Allow” in the bar at the bottom of the page: until then, and after “No, thanks”, nothing is kept in your browser and each page is counted on its own. Elsewhere it is stored by default, and “No, thanks” deletes it.
The site also uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and receives the pages you open, how you watch the trailer, the screenshots and music you open, clicks on the store button, your approximate location, your device and browser. In Europe (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — the site tells by your time zone) it works only after you press “Allow” in the bar at the bottom of the page; elsewhere it is on by default. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page: “No, thanks” turns Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies. Advertising features are off. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com.
The wishlist. If you leave your email at the bottom of the site, we keep the address, the site's language, when you left and confirmed it, and a reCAPTCHA score (Google reCAPTCHA checks the form is sent by a person; it receives your device and browser information — Google's Privacy Policy and Terms apply). The address is used only for a letter to confirm it and a letter when the game comes out; letters go through our mail provider DuoCircle. Every letter has an unsubscribe link; after it the address gets no more letters. To delete the address completely, write to gegirhasut@gmail.com.
Bug reports. “Report a bug” in the game (About) opens a form on this site with a one-time code from the game's server, so the site knows the report is from a player without any login; the game never gives the site your game's key. With a report we keep its title and text, the screenshots and videos you attach, the game's build, your phone's model, its Android version, the game's language and your game's internal number — no name or email. Screenshots and videos are seen only by the developer. Once the developer takes a report, its title, text and status are shown to the other players who open the page from the game. To know you when you come from the game (the report form, the deletion page) and to show you your own reports, the site keeps a cookie (ufg_s) in your browser; with it we keep the game's build, your phone's model, its Android version and the game's language from the game's link, until 400 days after your last visit. Reports and their files are deleted with your account, or earlier by the developer.
